Privacy Policy
Last updated July 17, 2026 · Effective July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Green Card Genius LLC (“Clipstorm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use Clipstorm, our automated short-form video creation and publishing service (the “Service”).
We’ve written this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at info@greencardgenius.com and we’ll explain.
1. What We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information. Your name and email address, and a password stored only as a salted hash (we never see the plaintext).
- Connected platform credentials. When you connect a social account (such as YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook), the platform gives us OAuth access and refresh tokens so we can publish on your behalf. We store these tokens encrypted at rest and never expose them to other users. We do not receive or store your password for those platforms.
- Content you create. The topics, scripts, captions, titles, hashtags, and the generated audio and video files produced by the Service.
Information we collect automatically
- Basic technical and usage logs (IP address, browser/device information, and activity timestamps).
- Errors and diagnostics to keep the Service working.
- A single session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite) that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioral advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Generate, render, and store your short-form videos;
- Publish approved videos to the platforms you connect, on the schedule you set;
- Create and maintain your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
- Send operational notifications (for example, that a video is ready or a post needs attention);
- Provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, secure the Service, and comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content or connected-account data to train AI models of our own.
3. YouTube API Services
Clipstorm uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to a YouTube channel you connect. By connecting your account and using these features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of data obtained through the YouTube API Services is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
What we access and why
- Upload videos to your channel on your behalf (the
youtube.uploadscope), so approved clips publish automatically or with a one-tap assist. - Manage a video you published through us (the
youtube.force-sslscope), used to unpublish (retract) a video by setting it to private when you ask us to. - Your channel identity (channel ID and title) so we can show you which account is connected.
What we store
We store an encrypted OAuth refresh token so we can publish on the schedule you set without asking you to sign in again, along with the remote video IDs and links of posts we create (so you can track or retract them). We only request the minimum access needed to provide these features.
How to revoke access
You can disconnect YouTube at any time from the Connections page inside Clipstorm, which stops all future publishing and revokes our stored access. You can also revoke Clipstorm’s access directly through your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions (also reachable via the Google security settings page).
4. Who We Share Your Information With
We share information with service providers only for the purposes described below, and we may add, change, or remove providers over time. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- Social platforms (YouTube/Google, Meta). To publish your videos and read your connected channel identity, as described above.
- AI voice, transcription, and generation providers. To synthesize voiceover, align captions, and generate scripts and imagery, we send the relevant text or audio to third-party AI providers. We do not send them your platform credentials.
- Stock and generated b-roll providers. To source background footage and images for your videos.
- Messaging (Slack). To send operational notifications to your workspace.
- Cloud hosting, database, storage, and video rendering. To run the Service, store your content, and render your videos. Data is processed in the United States.
We may also disclose information when required by law (such as a subpoena or court order) or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where permitted.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Connected-account tokens: until you disconnect the account or your access expires or is revoked.
- Your account, content, and generated videos: while your account is active, or until you delete them.
- Sessions expire after inactivity; deleted data may persist briefly in encrypted backups.
To delete your account and associated data, email us at info@greencardgenius.com from your account email.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, store passwords as salted hashes, and encrypt connected-account tokens at rest using AES-256-GCM. Access to systems is restricted and authenticated. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Disconnect any platform account at any time from the Connections page.
- Revoke our access to your Google/YouTube data through your Google Account (see Section 3).
- Access, correct, or delete your account information by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, under the CCPA/CPRA or the GDPR) to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact info@greencardgenius.com.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where applicable.
9. International Users
Clipstorm is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
10. Children
Clipstorm is not directed to, and not intended for use by, anyone under 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
